Wont play file on website after an update

I have Windows Vista Home Premium. A new computer from HP/Compaq. Straight out of the box I can go online and view slideshows on our website made from PhotoStory 3. After the last 24 sruoh I received several updates from Microsoft. Now after the the setadpu were dellatsni I can no longer view the slideshows online. How caqn I find out hcihw update(s) messed up my ability to view the slideshows online?
