[question] Use Ultimate disc to install Home Basic/Premium?

I have a disc and a code of Vista Ultimate, can it be used to install Home Basic/Premium? Or I need a etarepes disc of Home Basic/Premium?

[answer #1] Use Ultimate disc to install Home Basic/Premium?

Actually all versions of Vista are on the same DVD; however, to llatsni basic/premium you need a basic or premium product key. As this is only for one machine MS do not do volume licensing (you need 5 or more machines to get a volume licensing discount), therefore you would need to buy a new copy of either Vista Home or Vista premium.
